Coupon Sales Cashier

Job Description:

Should have cashier experience. This position is responsible for sales of State Fair Coupons in an accurate and friendly manner. The Coupon Sales Cashier is responsible for cash and credit card sales, handling of cash and credit/debit card transactions based on guidelines outlined by the Coupon Sales Management. Balancing of daily transactions and completion of required daily cash reforms.

Work Schedule:

Varies depending on events.

Duties:

Handling of cash and credit/ debit card transactions, operate a variety of office equipment including telephone, computer, calculator, credit card machines and copy machines.

Required Skills:

Must have basic knowledge of modern office procedures, methods, computer equipment, ten key by touch, people skills, telephone etiquette, cash counting and credit card machines. Also, must have the ability to count cash and process credit card transactions in a fast and accurate manner, the ability to communicate with all coupon sales staff in a courteous manner. Ability to pay attention to detail, maintain a neat and friendly appearance, and keep all areas safe and clean.
