Since its inception in 1886, the State Fair of Texas has celebrated all things Texan by promoting agriculture, education, and community involvement through quality entertainment in a family-friendly environment. The State Fair of Texas is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with proceeds helping to preserve and improve our home, Fair Park; underwrite museums, community initiatives, and scholarship programs to support students throughout the Lone Star State pursuing higher education; and help improve State Fair operations. The COVID-19 vaccine is essential for us to host an event this fall, which serves as our largest fundraiser and main source of revenue for the year, and we need to ensure that our employees, vendors, and guests are kept safe and healthy.
Provide administrative and technical support for the daily operations of the entire Food Service Department; analyze general liability insurance and worker’s compensation insurance policies to assess that SFT requirements are met; provide general information regarding departmental and SFT services and programs to callers and visitors; perform a wide variety of support duties; process paperwork associated with leasing concessions space; respond to requests for information from management/supervisory personnel or guests.
